Chris fought a long, hard, 18-month battle against cancer. She was fortunate to be able to afford the uncovered costs and additional expenses families incur while dealing with such a devastating illness, but many others aren't. This past Christmas, our family decided to make a donation to Healing For Hope in her honor instead of the usual gift exchange. Chris didn't know about it ahead of time, and was truly touched by it.
