Penn State Health’s Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team is raising funds to support global health initiatives, including their annual cleft lip and palate mission trips.

Dr. Jessyka Lighthall, Division Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Penn State Health, participates in surgical mission trips to countries such as Peru, Ecuador, and Zimbabwe. She has also been joined by facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Heather Schopper, and pediatric otolaryngologist, Dr. Allison Keane. During these trips, they perform cleft lip and palate surgeries for children who would otherwise lack access to this essential care.  To learn more about her work and the team’s travels, please visit their individual pages linked below.

With your contributions, Dr. Lighthall and the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery can continue their efforts to support the global health community through international healthcare initiatives.

You can make a difference. Help us reach our goal of $15,000!
