For the 9th year in a row, Mid Penn Bank and Penn State Health are joining forces to raise funds for prostate cancer research at the Penn State Cancer Center!
Since 2016, the No Shave November campaign led by Mid Penn Bank has raised more than $900,000 to support Dr. Jay Raman, Chief of the Department of Urology, and his team of physicians and researchers. With these funds, the team has been able to explore a number of avenues relevant to prostate and urologic cancers including, but not limited to, improved use of imaging, safer diagnostic procedures, streamlined post-operative pathways, and preventative community screenings. No Shave November has allowed our physicians to make an impact on patient care for members of our community.
