The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine will host Penn State Health Rec Fest on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, Pa. The event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to participate in exciting adaptive sports and recreational activities. They will also learn about life skills and available resources from educational exhibitors.

The event is well attended, with more than 500 participants, and has gotten news coverage in the past. The Rec Fest mission is to help people of all ages and abilities enjoy the benefits of recreation. You are never too old, too sick, too injured, or too busy to get active!

We provide this event at no cost for people in central Pennsylvania, so as you can imagine, there is a cost to underwriting such an event.
