AFF’s Lion’s Share helps individuals experiencing food insecurity obtain healthy and nutritious food.

This year’s collection will support the Penn State Health Lion’s Pantry and Penn State Health's Family & Community Medicine (F&CM) Food as Medicine Program at Beacon Clinic.  

• The Lion’s Pantry is located on the Hershey campus and provides to employees and students essential food.

• Beacon Clinic is a free primary healthcare clinic downtown Harrisburg. The F&CM faculty partner with medical students to bring Beacon Clinic’s clients food as medicine along with health screenings and education.   

Financial contributions have the greatest impact. All donations are tax-deductible and provide direct support to individuals in need. Through our partnership with Central PA Food Bank, every $1 helps provide six meals. Checks can be made out to Penn State University with AFF Lion’s Share in the memo.
