In Memory of Dana Knoster

Donate To This Campaign

Dana Knoster, Administrative Support Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health since February 1, 2010, unexpectedly lost her battle with cancer on February 3, 2021. Dana has been described as the heart and soul of the Department. Her humor, joy, positivity, and kindness reached beyond the Department to those throughout Penn State Hershey.

We would like to memorialize Dana’s life by dedicating an on-campus bench located at the intersection of Crescent Drive and Parking Lot A1. Our goal is to raise $3,250 to purchase the bench that will include a plaque in memory of Dana and will serve as a sanctuary for those who miss her. If we raise an additional $1,500, a tree residing near the bench will also be part of the memorial.

The raised funds will benefit the Beautification Fund in order to create an incredible memorial to our friend and coworker. If donations exceed $4,750 those dollars will provide funding for the ongoing maintenance and beautification of the Penn State Health Milton S Hershey campus.

If we reach our goal and you prefer to make a memorial gift to Four Diamonds, a fund that was special to Dana, please reach out to Tiffany Brandt-Thomas, Gift Officer in the Office of Development, at tiffanybrandtthomas@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.

Thank you for helping us honor Dana and her memory with your gift.
