Center Stage Arts in Health at
Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center

Piano students from across central Pennsylvania are raising funds in order to have an opportunity to play on Center Stage Arts in Health's Steinway D #42 concert piano located in the  Penn State College of Medicine’s Lecture Room D. This piano, recenlty purchased from Jacobs Music thanks to a generous gift, was played in the past by many celebrated musicians, including Bruce Hornsby, George Winston, Leon Bates, Alon Goldstein, Umi Garrett, and Lady Gaga. The funds raised will go to support The Department of Humanities' Center Stage Arts in Health program.

Center Stage Arts in Health at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center enhances the healthcare experience by showcasing visual and performing arts that calm, nurture and inspire our patients, caregivers, employees and students. Through live music, the Pick a Pic program, summer lunchtime concerts, participatory art workshops, art commissions, rotating art exhibits, and art therapy, Center Stage is helping to make the healthcare environment one of peace and enrichment.

Thank you for helping to further Center Stage’s mission to nourish well-being through the arts.
